New York Film Academy – School of Film and Acting (NYFA) is a for-profit film school and acting school based in New York City, Los Angeles, and across the world. It is founded by veteran producer Jerry Sherlock in 1992, who produced such classics as "The Hunt for the Red October". NYFA provides students with the tools and know-how, and they actually apply what they learn in class in the real world, making for an educational experience unlike any other.
